Yes, John, get well soon. They've made tremendous advances in research just the last 5 years, so you have a good chance of beating this.

John,

Thinking about you... that new Eastman Color Negative looks really good! You can beat this and end up looking even better than that new negative does!

Dear John, I am so sorry to hear of this further roadblock. It pains me to know you are having such trouble.

Keep your faith strong and continue taking the wise, progressive steps towards conquering this ailment. I am praying for you and your family in this distressing time.

John, you have always been very gracious the times I've called with rookie questions. We'll be keeping you in our prayers here at my church.

'Further roadblock' is exactly the phrase I was desparately searching for when I read of John's news yesterday evening and was thinking about how to reply. Please blow the roadblock up, just like Charles Vanel did in The Wages of Fear and then take a 'pisser en suisse' at it for me!

John, you are in our prayers. There's good chemotherapy drugs out there. The uterine cancer that had spread to my wife's lungs has been eliminated by a three-drug mixture. I'm sure your oncologists are on top of things and will come up with the appropriate drugs for you. There's lots of hope and ways to attack these things --- I've learned a lot in these past 8 months and have had a lot of emotional ups and downs. Hang in there, John, and know all your friends are with you.

John, wishing you the best during this phase. My best friend has been going through this with chemo and two surgeries. Last week he returned to work after a year of inactivity....he is a positive spirit, enjoys every day, and looks to the next day with optimism.
