And chiming along within this vein - all the times I drive by used car lots, it amazing, yet sad, to see these lots loaded heavilly with trucks and SUV's that you know that will be sitting there for quite the time - to the point that eventually they'll be just given away due to the lack of demand for such items.
Then, the ones that do own these vehicles, you can see the grimmace on their faces knowing that their guzzlers have lost tons of value where they will never get out of them what they paid for if they did a trade-in of sorts.
Thus, knowing that they're stuck with these vehicles as if chained to them for life.
I've always driven 4 cylinder econobox vehicles knowing that some day, like when it was back in the embargo days, these little cars do hold their weight in gold.
