Thus, it would be safe to say that domestic fuel prices are going to stay in this 2 to 3 dollar range. Diesel finally fell below $3.00 per gallon -currently it costs $2.95. We use a liquid. Commercial businesses that keep a lot of diesel trucks on the roads cannot cut back on driving so easily. Many companies we deal with are doing this. UPS puts out a newsletter in which they claim they have saved miillions of gallons of gas by eliminating many left turns from their routes. The drivers aren't burning up fuel waiting for traffic to clear; it's cheaper to turn right and take a different route.  |  IP: Logged Scott Norwood Film God Posts: 8146 From: Boston, MA.
