What makes me go insane?
Fair weather patrons at the drive-in The ones who will only come if it's 85 degrees and clear and sunny during the day and clear and mid-70's in the evening... unless there's something better they'd rather do. In order for them to come, your establishment must be absolutely spotless, lawns and parking areas well manicured, they must be able to park in the dead center of the field (usually in the middle of two parking spaces), they arrive at 7:45 for the movies that start at 8:00 p.m. and demand that there be no line at the concession stand to feed them. A nice selection of all "G-rated" movies would help them out a bunch. Oh, I forgot... that No Alcohol sign down on the ticket booth really doesn't apply to them... just the other people.
I have at my place.... "The Barn People" (i.e. ... by their actions they must've been raised in a barn.) Spit their gum on the sidewalk, stick it on the concessions counter, etc. When it rains, instead of walking the gravel driveways they will tromp thru the mud and muck then complain that WE ruined their shoes. Upon arriving at the concessions building, the men will scrape their shoes on the lobby walls, while their female companions will go into the women's restroom - take off their shoes and wash them in the white porcelain sinks. After washing their shoes in the sink they will bust open the paper towel dispenser to use most of the roll to dry their shoes. When done, they will throw the paper towels on the floor, leave the mud, gravel and grass in the sink - then stop by the concessions window and complain about "how nasty our restrooms are".
The "You know what ya'll need to do?" people. These are the people who stop me in the lobby and proceed to tell me... a.) Ya'll need to have old classic horror movies and B-movies every week.
b.) Ya'll need to have carload pricing all the time.
c.) Ya'll need to give free refills on drinks and popcorn.
d.) Ya'll need to give out free passes to the elementary school to all the kids.
e.) Ya'll need to have karaoke and x-box nights on the movie screens.
f.) Ya'll need to have at least one G-Rated movie every week.
g.) Ya'll need to have concerts out here before the movies on weekends.
h.) Ya'll need to pave over the entire lot and get rid of all of this grass and mud.
i.) Ya'll need to put them automatic flushers on all of the toilets.
j.) Ya'll need to put about 10 more stalls in the ladies room.
k.) Ya'll need to have a full time restroom attendant like they do at the night clubs.
l.) Ya'll need to play more Christian films and let the church people in for free and give them discounts on concessions.
m.) Ya'll need to let my daughter sing the Star Spangled banner over the radio... she's really good.
n.) Ya'll just need to raise that screen up about 10 feet higher so we can just park any damn-well place we wanna park. How hard could that be?

Ya know what really grinds my gears? People who write:
-- "loose" or "looser" when they mean, LOSE or LOSER -- "then" when they mean, THAN -- "than" when they mean, THEN -- "them" or "that" when they mean, WHO, HIM or HER, HE or SHE (sorry Christian ) -- "your" when they mean, YOU'RE -- "quiet" when they mean, QUITE
And people who still haven't figured out the difference between THEIR, THERE, and THEY'RE.
Many more.
