People who claim that RAP is just modern "poetry"

Vista

Trailers that specify "Coming" Dates

Waiters singing Happy effin Birthday in restaurants

"Conversate"

"Irregardless"

"Yo"

And I'll go Mark one further.....skim milk.

Soy Milk (which is not even milk...how do you know that? Because that it doesn't come from a tit).

Here's one for New Yorkers -- you all know that the North/South Expressway in Queens know as the Van Wyke Expressway is pronounced Van "Wick," (as in dick). It has been Van Wick since I was a kid and you can ask ANY New Yorker how it's pronounced and they will tell you to a person that it's Van Wick.

YET, some pompous ass new director at WCBS-AM News Radio decided that it should be called Van W-eye-k. And every time they give a traffic report, like 4 times an hour, all of New York has to listen to these ahole announcers sounding like they are from Alabama or someplace other than New York City, mispronouncing it as "The Van W-eye-k Expressway." Classic case of someone thinking not only does he know it all, but forces 7 million people to have to LISTEN to this assinine mistake on a daily basis. And don't tell me he's right because the great great great nephew says the family name is pronounced Van W-eye-k. The expressway doesn't belong to the family, it's the city's and WE don't give a rats ass how the family used to pronounce it 200 years ago. It's the way New Yorkers pronounce it that makes it right.

If they don't fire this guy soon, WCBS announcers will be calling it Green Wich Village and West Hew-ston Street.

and trailers that specify "3-D."

Also, people who think it's just wrong for a company to earn a profit.

1) People who ask if I can fast forward trailers

2) Employees who say "Projectionists don't do anything!!"

3) Management

SOME of the things that make me CRAZY ...in no particular order:

People who argue with me when I'm right!

Bagpipes.

People letting their dogs piss and/or shit in my yard...may they die and rot in hell!

Having to use more than one remote control (one for TV, another for the DVD player, etc.).

When you adjust the volume of the TV and the volume display blocks the subtitles during important dialogue.

Walking into spider webs.

Having a bunch of unknown cords, transformers, adapters, etc. Trying to figure out what goes with what!

Air Guitar...don't do it. You look like a dork.

TV shows and commercials with ringing doorbells or phones which make you think the sound is coming from your house.

The Food Channel's "Ace of Cakes"(or ANY cake-making show), ANY show with that dickhead Guy Fieri, "Iron Chef America", and those super-slurpy love-bugs on that POS show "Down Home with the Neelys."...YUKKIE POO-POO!

People who don't know the difference between 'Yield' and 'Merge'!!

Martha Stewart

Keith Olbermann

Sylvester Stallone

Brendan Fraser

People who haven't found a balance between idealism and realism.

Grocery carts with a bad wheel.

A toilet paper roll that the tissue unwaps from the under side of the roll rather than over the top.

And last, but NOT least: "Dowser" when it should be "Douser"!!!!!!!

(I'm sure I'll think of more...)

I was making a training manual for the head trainer last week, and every manual I read had it spelled "Dowser" not "Douser", but for some reason I typically see "Douser" outside of the manuals I read last week. I guess the controversy will never be resolved.

What makes me go insane is when my BlackBerry doesn't send my text message or e-mail because someone is trying to send me a text or call me, so I sit there for like five minutes trying to resend the same message while trying to figure out why the hell my BlackBerry won't work.

You REALLY NEED to use the correct spelling...look them both up for the definitions of each.

One is a water seeker using a divining rod and the other is something that douses a light/flame, etc..

Just because some dim-wit has no clue doesn't mean you should be another dim-wit.

Yours in Christ...

I have thankfully been spelling it "Douser" from day one, so count me out of being one of the dim-wits! Although, the funny thing is that I generally see management write it down as "Dowser", including the AV manager!

Here's another one:

-A restaurant closes at 10:00. You arrive at 9:40. The staff are already vacuuming and scrubbing the floors in an attempt to hurry out the doors. They certainly do not look thrilled to see you. They want to be out the door at 10:00, not stop accepting new customers at that time. This happened to us tonight. It seemed like they rushed the hell out of the pizza, too. It seemed at least a bit undercooked.

Frank,

Soy milk is there for folks with a lactose intolerance. I don't think it's meant for folks with normal digestive tracts like yours!!

Phil,
Guy Ferei! I agree... since he's been through Salt Lake City I can no longer get in to most of the restaurants here that he's featured on his show and that really sucks big time!

Soy Milk (which is not even milk...how do you know that? Because that it doesn't come from a tit).

Come on, let's get it right:

quote: Lewis Black
There’s no such thing as soy milk. It’s soy juice. But they couldn’t sell soy juice, so they called it soy milk. Because anytime you say soy juice, you actually start to gag… We all know why there’s no soy milk, don't we? Because there’s no soy titty, is there? I was always told that in order to have milk, you must have breasts, and I have yet to see a soy bean with breasts!

Lewis Black to the rescue:

quote: Lewis Black
Lactose intolerant milk? Kiss my dick! If you're lactose intolerant you can't drink milk. So what's in the fucking carton? Get it out of there, get it away from my milk. It is talking to my milk and making it feel bad about itself.

Queue jumpers
Litter louts, especially in this beautiful town
People who spit in the street
People who treat our theatres like their lounge, texting, feet up on seats, bringing in McDonalds/pizza/curry etc
That my Outlook Express can't retrieve my Hotmail lately
Receiving used prints that have had several frames spliced off when they could have just peeled the tape off
Neil Diamond
Stupid Hollywood remakes
People who drive too close behind me
The laughing track on M*A*S*H
