Along similar lines, I *really* hate it when ignorant people merely "count" your change, as in the amount they're giving you back - like that's going to help thwart errors. For example, if something comes to $4.85 and you give them a five. They give you a dime and a nickel back and say, "Ten... fifteen." I have already done the math in my head before they ever even get my money in their hands. What makes me angry is when they hand back the change by laying the bills in my hand and then dropping all of the change ON TOP!!! NO YOU MORON! PUT THE CHANGE IN MY HAND AND THE BILLS ON TOP SO I CAN EASILY GRAB IT INSTEAD OF POTENTIALLY DROPPING IT ALL OVER THE FLOOR YOU DIP! My all time favorite is: "How many dollar bills does it take to make $20?"
