You have somewhat less than the full space between sprocket holes left at each end, losing the frame line. The matching cut ends have more than half, which overlaps in the splicer. I would suspect this is a marketing giveaway frame, but nobody cutting multiple frames would flip the roll around to make this type of frame, or even use an ultrasonic splicer to cut them. And the edge code is too perfectly placed. They compared that to a 35mm frame of the same shot. Yes, Rich- - They did several low altitude fly-bys at points along the route to give the public a last chance to see it before it sets down permanantly in LA. The area around the bridge was packed with spectators. I heard all the 'viewing points' along the route had large crowds who came to out see it. There's nothing else left.  |  IP: Logged Jim Cassedy Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1661 From: San Francisco, CA Registered: Dec 2006 posted 02-08-2013 10:00 AM                     The Cartoon Art Museum in San Franciso has an exhibit with some of the sets & stop-motion puppets from the movie PARANORMAN on display. Here's a few pix I took the other nite on my way to work at a nearby screening room- "Norman"- He's about 10in tall, but there were several different size "Norman's" used depending on the size & perspective of the set used in the shot. Norman's house was the largest item on display. Its about 4.5ft high, and the detail was amazing. If you look close you can see there's a tiny water spigot & garden hose, and even a little electric meter & phone box on the side. Here's the van used in the chase near the end of the movie. It's about 2 feet long. These figures are only about 4in high, and built only from the waist up. Tiny LED's illuminate the interior of the van Part of the "school hallway" set: Once again, the detail is amazing!
