Like Global Audio delay, they will be charge items in the future. They are NOT on Dolby Secure...you will need to contact your Dolby rep to receive them. We are putting in a new system and I'll wire it 7.1 if the system will permit (has the surround wired right and has the amps). I don't know how they are doing it in other parts of the world. Have you contacted your Dolby office? Fortunately, upgrades to either CP650s or CP750s is pretty simple and does not require recalibration. I can understand the logic behind the former, but absolutely cannot comprehend the latter. I was going to do an article about the new format and instructions for how to look for the designation in our showtimes, but with only one theater talking about it, it would be cruel to talk about the feature and then have no way to help people find where the movie is playing in that format. The marketing aspect is a "why bother" scenario, i.e. how much extra business would we really get from spending the time and money to advertise it - EX didn't really net us significant additional customers so why try with 7.1? Another issue is we currently have only 1 or 2 7.1 screens at each location and chances are it will run for only a week before it gets moved out. (I did mention to marketing that we might be the only ones in our market, but there was no interest). I see that you have indicators for "Luxury Seating" in the showtime comments field, as well as "Real D 3D" -- maybe there's a way to insert the "7.1" flag in via the same way those are being done? I know that inserting comments is possible through RTS, but I'm not aware of which POS system you're using there. If you need help on movietickets' side of things, please let me know, as I can work at them from this side of things so that the right people get in touch with you. I don't work for them, but since I pay West World Media a fair bit of money on a monthly basis, I have contacts there that have been very cooperative and helpful in the past. After today's showtimes updates so far, two more Muller Family Theatres locations have joined the 7.1 party, but that's it.  |  IP: Logged
