Thanks Tim. What I mostly like on the network are the older reruns they play...Star Trek and the such. I actually haven't watched any of the original series. Don't watch TV all that much.

  • People who make kids movies half-heartedly saying, "It's just a bunch of kids, it only has to be 'good enough'."
  • Nickelodeon, all set-up and a big FAT **ZERO** payoff, at the most recent "kids choice" (from a limited ballot of nominees selected by the adults who run the corporation) awards, they had the PERFECT opportunity to slime Kelly and Justin from the first American Idol. They set it up to slime Kelly and Justin! The lever was pulled and... nothing! (oh big whoop, a pool outside the place started to fill up with the stuff) and I would like to clarify that this has nothing to do with my odd fetish that many of you know about, it's comedy: set-up, payoff that is the way of things. It makes me want to smash something!
  • People who attack my fetish as being sexist/anti-feminist, people who go out of their way to point out one scene in a B-movie from the '60s that happens to feature some "teenage" girls getting muddy. If you're going to go out of your way to point out something sexist/anti-feminist, point out that dumb commercial with the women obsessing about the yogurt, that commercial makes me mad too.
Something else that makes me mad is when there is a scene on TV of someone getting slightly messy and someone who is aware of my fetish points it out loudly.
I'm going to go buy something breakable and take a golf club to it to relieve some of this anger.
I don't hate anybody, there are just some people whom I passionately dislike.

People who say "kudos" or "cool beans" [puke]

Anyone who responds to a Ron Epstein review on HTF with a note congratulating him on the great review. I don't know why, but that just irritates me.

Because of my hearing problem, alot of sounds irritate me alot, I could go on and on about those.

Hey Joe, Where did you get the pretty girlie
Where did you get that jolly dolly
Where did you get that dish
I wish were mine.

We'll be friends until the end
This looks like the end my friend
Cause I want that dolly,
for my own. [Smile]

Rachel, they play Star Trek?! As in, "Captain Kirk"? I could watch that. About all I ever see on that channel, though, is "Real TV". I swear it's on all the time!
[Roll Eyes]

And don't you worry none, lil' lady. You just go ahead and watch it, if you want to. You have permission.
[Razz] [Wink]

Be nice, Adam... [Smile]

(this part in response to John Lasher) -- About people attacking you in various ways about your fetish -- there are a lot of inconsiderate, cruel people out there that get their enjoys out of being mean. I have a lot of respect for you and others who have shared things like that about themselves in the "Are you out at work" thread.

I have to deal with quite a few people that have a problem with the fact that I like guys. This gets compounded by the fact that I have a somewhat wobbly walk due to an aftereffect of having my appendix taken out in 1981 (my spine got curved somewhat). People love to walk behind me in the mall and mimic my walk. Sometimes, I don't mind. Sometimes, it gets to me.

There are many people out there who are just inherently bold and mean, and there's really nothing you can do about them except not let them get to you. They'll always be there -- if not them, someone else just as bad. Just find a way to have a snappy comeback and don't let them knwo it gets to you because that's the reason they do it -- because they want it to get to you.

One thing I hate is people who seem to be your friend until they find out "something" about you. It almost makes me want to just let people know early on about certain things so they won't find out later then dump me. It hurts a lot less to just not make a friend than to develop a friendship and then have it end later.

Everyone, before judging someone for something they find strange or odd, they should really examine themselves and think, "Is there something about me that others would find odd, that I wouldn't want them to know about?" Believe it or not, the strange, odd things are what make people interesting.

Remember in the movie "Good Will Hunting" when Robin Williams is talking to Matt Damon about his deceased wife? He mentions some of her funny quirks and says, "That's the good stuff." That's the stuff worth remembering.

Well, good night. I'm going to bed.

Mike,

I know what you mean about the HTF dvd reviews. They like kissing his ass or something.

Too bad he isn't reviewing anymore.

Evans I can sypathize with you on the people who are just plain mean and think there better than others. I work with some fanatical christians at one of my jobs that think there only reason for existing on earth is to out everyone they think is a homosexual. Now I consider myself to be a strong christian myself and I have never once turned my back on anyone I knew or finally came out and stated they were homosexual or had fetish that I might think are sick and disgusting. Instead I like to take a step back and try to do things as my lord and savior would do, Do not Judge an idividual on thier likes and dislikes, love my brothers and sisters in the world like there were imediate family and do not be quick to point out someone elses wrong doings. If everybody would follow these simple guidelines. we would probably all be living in a better place right now.

Or, to paraphrase Jesus Christ: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

quote:
John 8:3-11
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said unto him, "Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned; but what do you say?" This they said, tempting him, that they might accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he didn't hear them. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, "he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, "woman, where are those your accusers? Has no man condemned you?" She said "no man, Lord." And Jesus said unto her, "neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more."

Or Saint Paul:

quote:
"If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal...Love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong-doing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends . But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end...And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love" (1 Cor 13:1-13).

Shame on you, Phil. I'm never bad, but I'm often naughty. [Wink]

Windows barfing up cookies causing me to miss posts makes me angry. No, wait. Windows just makes me angry. And Macs make me angry because they look the same but everything's in different places.
