I would seem that the BBC's hard-of-hearing subtitlers had a bit of a moral dilemma when confronted with Kanye West at Glastonbury ... and eventually gave up.

I remember Beverly Hills Cop was first televised on the BBC: the censorship was done by dubbing, and "mothercrusher" entered the UK English dictionary as a result. Looks like we now have "-ducker" to add to that...

I saw a reference to that screen many years ago, but that is the first time I have seen a picture. If the fairgrounds was configured then as it was in later years, they could have put the screen in the racetrack infield and projected from the top of the grandstand.

Joe, I shared that image and people were confused. I made something a little different to help those who couldn't comprehend.

I was searching for something that has nothing to do with Telluride and stumbled upon this picture of a presentation report from our last show there. With the state of the cinema industry and knowing Telluride is coming up this week, I wish the best of luck to this year's projectionists that they don't have these sort of film problems.

Not to go OT, but were those pedestals any good? I'm sure they were heavy and all, but it seems to me with the lack of mass underneath that they would be unsteady to say the least.
