The fact it won't be shown in 70mm or the date of the premiere. We used to, we used to have Cinepex and Famous Players. Famous Players always had the best theatres. When Cinplex bought Famous, they also bought Galaxy Cinemas. The Canadian Government forced Cineplex to sell off a percent of their market share. Empire bought the theatres that were not performing well and will never perform well. They bought into the market of Ontario. When Cineplex bought Famous, they sold their current (newer THX at the time Square One) theatre to Empire and kept the older Famous Players across the street that always gets the first run movies. So now, what do we have. We have all kinds of second class cinemas owned by Empire and Rainbow Cinemas. The Famous Players megeplexes are aging into 15 year range, and the Cineplex theatres are getting close to 10 years. Cineplex owns 70 percent of the market share in Canada. AMC does not really compete. The chains in Canada suck! Cinplex has terrible presentation, horrible line-ups, and unbelieveable market share. If you want to go see a movie, it pretty much is Cineplex Entertainment or second class cinemas. I should mention that Empire is dominant in the Eastern part of Canada where Cineplex is a minor player. The Bell Ligthbox (even though are not doing well) has by far the best theatres, Union projectionists, and seem to care about movies and the presentation that goes with them. And, in the spirit of pointless bickering, technically, the proper vernacular for the improper phrase is y'all, as in "you all".
