This "Sherman Oaks 5" is an ex-GCC structure. The building was known, during the GCC days, as cinemas 3 - 7. Cinemas 1 & 2 were located across the street, and technically they (1 & 2) had a different street address, on Van Nuys Blvd. Those two were the originals, and the 5 were added later, though I can't recall the year. (I'm refreshing my memory from my old GCC Directory, from October 1998). Looks like 1 & 2 are demolished now, for a parking structure. My guess would be that these 5 screens, now as part of Pacific, are living out the term of the lease.
