This thread is back! Since I last posted, I'm not as lonely as I was. I have a lot more friends but most of the social activities are in groups rather than one-on-one, something I really miss, but at least the more frequent social activities have kept me from getting deeply depressed. Back in late February and March, I started meeting a lot of local people on LiveJournal (I'm "chris21718" if anyone here uses that and would like to add me). At work, I guess it's a lot more obvious that I'm the way I am, since I have a Ken doll collection (over 30 dolls) in my office and wear rainbow belts sometimes and am wearing pink shirts more often. I wonder how many people at work know how I am. What gets me is some people who meet me, when told I'm the way I am by others, are genuinely surprised and say they would have never known, while others say "it's obvious". It's interesting to me that some people just pick up on it while others don't.
