I picked up 6 of them a couple of years ago for $2.00 each. One of them still had the original packing material still inside, and the bulb had never been installed. I once worked for an AV equipment company and we too had dozens of these things that we took in "trade" from a school district when they upgraded all their classrooms to TV's & VCR/DVD players. They were worthless but we took them becuase we wanted their business. Many of them eventually wound up in a dumpster, but we also gave a few away to local film schools and employees who had 16mm film collections. We even gave one (free) to a guy who came in to have an older B&H projector repaired. We told him we couldn't get parts for his old machine and that in our opinion it wasn't worth repairing. Since at that point we knew most of these were going to the dump we decided to be nice guys and give him one of the projectors from our 'pile' . He sent us a BIG basket of assorted candies & cookies that Christmas.  |  IP: Logged
