Wonder how many theatres around could use those big Wagner clip-on letters to replace the ones that are broken?

Last time I drove by Wagner they were still very much in buisness... shouldn't be a problem getting them... expensive though...

I bought a drive-in marquee similar to that several years from the old Sumner Drive-In in Gallatin, TN, not from ebay but from a private individual. Paid nowhere near $4000, more like $500 - and that was too much. Still sitting on concrete blocks behind my concessions building.

Like Mark said: Wagner is very much in business and we sell them every day. Higher $$$ than the past, but not extraordinarily so. Louis

OMG!! OPTICAL PRINTER STAR WARS ILM GEORGE LUCAS!! LOLZ!

----or----

Mutant remnants of what once was a simple projector or telecine.

You decide!

Actually all the wires coming off the front of the lense are intriguing.

There are no wires coming off the lens.

I actually want to keep this because of its historic value. But I need the storage space and so here it is.
It was originally built and owned by INDUSTRIAL LIGHT AND MAGIC. It was developed and used on STAR WARS.

I'm not sure which of those sentences it's harder to believe. [Razz]

John

What ever it was must have been in bad taste as Ebay have removed the item.

OMG Ebay remove something because of taste & decency, what is the world coming to.

Next thing we know we will have suspected kiddy fiddlers treated like gods.

It was two tickets to the Memorial for $4000.

Someone at Ebay's an MJ fan perhaps?

That 35mm projector-thingy that may or may not have been
owned by George Lucas and may or may not have been possibly
used on Star Wars did not sell, but has been re-listed.

My favorite part of the item description:

"I am not really sure EXACTLY what it is and what it does.
I am sure that this is the only one"
