Hi. I'm Henry. I have been lurking for about a year and I must say that I have sure learned a lot. I have a background in tech theater and electronic repair. I've been the chief projectionist for about a year and a half here in Hamilton. I don't have much to say, but it is sure fun to read (and watch) the posts here. I am sure that both my manager and my two protectionists are sure tired of hearing " well, on film-tech they said ....."

The Hamilton Theater, AKA Hamilton Movie House, was purchased by Colgate last year.

My name is Andy I am a projectionist/Assistant Manager at The Century Rancho Santa Fe in Las Vegas. I have worked in the Booth for three years now, sadly the turn over rate is so bad at my theater that I have been a projectionist longer than anyone else there.

Hi. I'm Andrea and have been reading the posts here at Film-Tech for over a year now, until Joe finally convinced me to join. That's right! I worked up in booth with the almighty Joe at the former Madstone Theaters in Denver, CO for 2 years until we all got laid off! Yes, I also worked with Nate! Before Madstone, I was a projectionist at AMC theaters 24 in Westminster, CO for 2 years and also had the pleasure of working on floor before that.

I'm also an assistant manager at Regal's Virginia Center 20. My 2 favorite things to do are call the cops on people, and write people up.

My name is Christian Volpi and I work for Main Street Theaters, inc. based out of Omaha, Ne. I am the Assistant Operations Manager but I am managing the Cinema III in Fremont, Ne for about a month because the last manager was a douche bag and had to be dealt with. I have been with the company for about 8 years now. We operate 26 screens at 7 sites with a new 14-screener opening in Nov.

Welcome Christian.

I've been to your theatre, TWICE, on Cinematour.com photo trips. Once I asked to go in but the manager said no and looked totally paranoid that I was there to rob them or something. So I went down the street to the Cinema III and they let me in and gave me a tour (and even a policy trailer).

And for Andy up above, welcome to Film Tech, I'm glad to see fellow Century employees here (I'm one of the auditors). Just be careful what you say on here, don't give away any company secrets. [Smile]

With my new picture and my 100th post I would like to introduce myself. I was born and raised in Tucson. Worked for AMC as an usher when I was in high school. Then started working for Century in 92 when I learned the booth. Worked my way up to House Manager then went to Sacramento for 9 months to study/work under a booth tech. For the past 5 and a half years I have been working for my friends and their company Grand Cinemas as their booth tech and as management. I am currently going back to the University of Arizona as a History Major. Go Cats!! [beer] I follow the Dodgers and the Cowboys. [beer] I love long walks along the beach under a full moon and my favorite color is blue [Smile]

Hey Scott the secrets are safe, don't worry.
And I have met you before at an audit, if you remember there was a computer issue with the concession program and you were quite long.
