Its actually the very best of the Type A noise reduction stuff that Dolby made. Certainly not practical though imagine 24 channels of those . Its a huge beast! Really I used to buy these from Keith Stata for a couple hundred bucks U.S.. They great projectors though... among my favorite. Probably the first pojector ever with a double speed single blade shutter... circa 1945 and on. Someone ought to e-mail these folks and give them the wake up call. Any of you chaps down under know who this is or are you just pulling our legs? The seller says they are 35/70 projectors (Which DP75s are, by nature) however, I don't see any 35mm soundhead (optical) and one has to watch out as the DP75 could be configured for things like 8/70 so the cost of getting these machines to work in a more typical theatre could go far beyond the eBay sell price.  |  IP: Logged Max Biela Film Handler Posts: 89 From: Dortmund, Germany Registered: Sep 2003 posted 07-01-2007 07:43 AM                     I think the two Kinotons are from Warner Bros. Movie World. They were projecting "Marvin the Martian in the Third Dimension" until they got replaced with some kind of digital projection system for "Shrek 4D" (or Spongebob 4D here in germany). But, the slider mechanisms can be easily taken off and return to the single lens type that uses the large lens collar for mounting.
