Do they think they are saving money somehow?? It gets way too cluttered if I don't and sifting through previous responses becomes useless because you can't tell anything apart from the other. For some reason they think that as long as they can see the road 30 miles ahead of them, somehow it will protect them from the on-coming drivers who are veering off into their lane because their retinas have been MELTED by those 290,000 lumen headlights shining directly at their eyes. When is there going to be a regulation that limits the brightness of headlights? In most municipalities you can get a ticket for driving with your high-beams on, whilst these super-bright headlights stuck in the low-beam position can be many times the brightness of the high beams. Surely there has to be a level at which they become a menace. Besides, it is a scientific fact that aholes who feel the need to have the super brightest headlights on the road are just compensating for unusually miniscule sex organs. Or ED. Or impotency. Or incontinence....both No. 1 and No. 2. Most of the times they screw it up bigtime and in any case nobody cares how fast one threads the projector but how precise one threads a projector. That's for noobz! No, real men thread with their left hand, keeping their right hand in their back pocket. Then, when they get bored with that, they do it blindfolded. My record time for threading is 93 seconds... Blindfolded and using only my left hand. If you have a Dolby Digital penthouse reader or anything else to go through and you have to rewind a media cleaner, then it may take you up to 20 or 25 seconds from lifting the ring out to completely done. We always started timing when the 20-minute reel was placed on the spindle and the lock flipped shut (go!). I really hate watching some of the peeps at work trying to thread quickly. I usually say "what's the rush". Yanking that film off the platter as fast as you can has proven deadly to my leaders and house trailers. Anyways, I thought of a peeve yesterday. I hate it when you're walking behind someone and they just stop instantly to check or send a text message on their cell phone, and you just about plow them over because they were a step or two ahead of you. Plus side to this: Cute girl does it and you get momentary body contact. Down side: Phil Hill stops in front of you and you get momentary body contact  |  IP: Logged
