I think the metal hangers are trying to act like various kinds of cables, whether they're audio cables, USB cables, electrical cables. If any two cables are within close proximity to each other they will magically end up tied in very complicated knots. The headphone cables on my MP3 player tangle themselves in novel ways all the time. It's like these cables have a mind of their own. They're twisting knots through each other like a bunch of snakes having an orgy.

It's an entertainment outing. Some people like to eat at a restaurant and then see a movie. Some people like to see a football game. And a few love an afternoon adventure visiting Wal-Mart! Entertainment the whole family can enjoy!

I HATE it when the comercials are louder than the actual show that I'm watching. When that happens I don't even care to watch anymore TV [Mad]

Dylan, that's why when I watch I always MUTE the commercials. Well, that and commercials tend to be obnoxious at any volume level. I haven't watched any TV in probably 6 months now.

In this day in age, why would you put so much personal information on the internet for anyone and everyone to see? Someone will eventually try to exploit your ignorance. It seems the traditional ways of keeping in touch and socializing are being eliminated.

Those people who were scammed only have themselves to blame.

If someone wants to know me well enough to see all of my "friends" and family, as well as aspects of my life they wouldn't normally see....they can meet me in person, get to know me, and become a physical part of my social circle.

So, you don't like these things. Fine...but let's deal with what actually happened. The person whose profile was hacked was not scammed...her friends were. People who believed that girl was in serious trouble (and why wouldn't they?) and tried to help in a small way...THEY are the ones who were scammed.

It's a faceless world sometimes. If you'd like to close yourself to only know the guy next door, that's your choice. For me, I like the fact I can get to know people from around the world a little better.

The scammers have no scruples or morals and prey on the good charity of others. THEY are the ones I'm upset at, not the poor buggers who thought they were helping a friend.

Let's also not forget there is no shortage of people willing to run scams in person or use "analog" methods like dumpster diving to rip off personal information.

And since when did scooters become a thing that was considered good for people are unhealthy? If you can't walk around due to weight and lack of exercise, the scooter WILL ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE.

I just love the ad that has a guy hawking one of these pieces of shit saying "As a nurse by profession..." and goes on his spiel, as if real nurses who aren't paid to say so will say that scooters are awesome when reality tells us that real nurses go absolutely against giving away these products.

I don't think there is much of any excuse for a doctor or nurse to be obese. More than a few in my area of the country are huge. It kind of makes it difficult to take medical advice from someone who looks like they could keel over dead any minute.

Yes, but just because they don't practice what they preach doesn't mean that what they're preaching is wrong.

RE: scooters. For the past three years, I've been going to the Dayton Hamvention event. It is three days of solid walking.. for miles, if you want to even attempt to see the whole show. Every year, though, I keep thinking more about those scooters that a lot of guys rent. My legs and feet kill me after a short time... but then I think, the day I have to get a scooter is the day I give up. I know it'd be all over for me then - might as well hang it up.

We just got back from Disney World. I am against the scooters there, because 99% of them are ridden by people who are just too damn lazy to walk. You can tell that by the slightly-embarrased-but-still-"I deserve this" look on their faces.

I'd hate to be there and ride on one of those things, because looking at all the other peoples' butts just doesn't seem very Disney to me.

I agree on this one completely...the PROBLEM is the scooter, not the solution. Those that are on scooters are, by and LARGE (and I do mean large), are the ones that need to WALK to the most. Those that are truly disabled (through illness, disease...etc...not by stuffing one's self) are the ones that need the scooters/wheelchairs.

One of the things I like about going to Disney is all of the walking I do! Most of my (and I would guess most tech's lives) is spent in the car, a chair or walking very little. The Megaplexes are probably the best thing to happen to projection fitness!

Those damn LED tail/brake lights that strobe so fast you can't see it until you turn your head or shift your eyes and you end up seeing a bunch of bright red dots in your vision. I guess they're saving energy or whatever, but damn it's distracting on a highway.

It should be easy enough to add a location sensor device to the supermarket scooters that prevent them going down some of the aisles containing the food that made the user the size they are.
