Hey, if people are knowingly going to ask you questions while your mouth is full, the least you can do is respond in kind.
I was on a job once, and my boss decided we should go to Hooter's for lunch "for the wings." What a terrible restaurant. I had never felt the need to go there, and now I know I was justified in my total disinterest, contempt even. I suppose if I were some sleazy weirdo, I could get excited about the place, but I think it is extremely weird how the waitress sits at your table and clumsily tries to relate to whatever you're saying, while sticking her chest out as much as possible.
