The Sunday New York Times is delivered all over the nation. Our Hastings store in Lawton carried Sunday newspapers from lots of major cities. They stopped doing that several years ago. The Dallas Morning News is sold at a number of convenience stores here in Lawton. I spent a huge amount of time pouring through NY Times microfilms at a library when I lived in Georgia. Unfortunately their microfilm machines had pretty sucky printers. So I mainly took notes and didn't print out a lot of things due to the poor quality. I've seen something about Google News digitizing newspaper microfilms and putting them on the web. Don't know if Google has followed through on this or not. quote: Manny Knowles 4. M&R was a local chain that took it over and gussied it up, but the days of single screen houses were nearing their end (for chains, anyway), so this place didn't last long. In fact, the entire M&R chain was sold to Loews, who changed their name to Sony, until they merged with Cineplex Odeon and were known as Loews Cineplex, and then was gobbled up by AMC. It was advertised in 70mm-CDS only in advance of its release (like in the ad you posted) and the first couple of days of release. The original intent was to show it in 70, and the theater was sent a 70, but at the last minute a 35mm-CDS print was used. (This was the first time Cinema Digital Sound was shown on 35mm in the U.S.; CDS releases prior to Edward Scissorhands were all on 70mm.)
