On the topic of CDS, I photocopied this ad out of a trade magazine in the SVA college library. I don't remember which magazine featured the ad. Millimeter maybe? For Manny, I have vertical and horizontal versions of the CDS logo in vector format (Illustrator, CorelDRAW). However, seeing as how I don't play around with PowerPoint anymore than I have to I'm not sure what vector-based files PowerPoint can support. It's perfect! Could you convert your vector drawing to a JPEG? I guess I need it to be about 500px wide or larger. I saved it in GIF format since it's actually better at preserving flat colors and edge details in logos than JPEG. It seems to be that the Cinerama Dome is getting all the premium bookings now, as I went to the Chinese earlier this year and watched " Season of the Witch ". Firefox did have 70mm blow-up prints in its original release. I don't have any copies of the 70mm newspaper ads though. quote: Ron Lacheur The Rookie had a 70mm release. The 70mm part of the ad is real tiny so I would need to do a combo image thing when I scan it.  |  IP: Logged Michael Coate Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1904 From: Los Angeles, California Registered: Feb 2001 posted 02-27-2011 01:46 AM                     Clint Eastwood was in several films that had 70mm prints, including, in addition to the ones mentioned, Paint Your Wagon, Where Eagles Dare, Kelly's Heroes, City Heat, In the Line of Fire, and, if you believe a couple of the history books, Pale Rider and Two Mules for Sister Sara. I do have ads for most of those; I'll scan them and get them added to the thread at some point...unless, of course, you guys are sick to death of me posting these things. In the meantime, I leave you with an ad for 2010, a film that had one of the largest 70mm print runs in history. Los Angeles Times; December 6, 1984. And here's a closer view of the 70mm section of the ad listing the chain theaters. And here's a closer view of the section of the ad listing the independently-owned theaters.
