The director's cut of CASINO ROYALE is about 22 seconds longer than the American version, and about 14 seconds longer than the UK version. Cuts were made in order to get a PG-13.
The American version is missing a some stuff from the bathroom scene at the start of the movie, and some stuff from the fight in the stairwell.
The UK version is missing a some stuff from the torture scene.
As for TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE, It is 16:9. I think it's the same transfer that was used for the last DVD release. The colors are a little weird. Hot Rod is kind of purple, and there's been some discussion as to whether or not that's how it was in theaters. Regardless, that last DVD release had the worst compression artifacting I've ever seen in my life, so the BD is a substantial improvement.
The sound? Not so much. The 5.1 remix, which is just terrible, is available in DD and DTS. There's also a 2-channel mix. I haven't listened to that one, but hopefully it's the same as the theatrical mix, which was quite good.
There are no extras at all on the disc.
My girlfriend gave it to me for Christmas (best X-Mas gift ever, by the way), and I think she got it from Amazon UK. I've also heard it's available at sendit.com
