The new sweatshirt my son-in-law, Darren, had worn left a blue dye over his upper body. He decided to submerge himself in the bathtub to try to soak it off.

Teddy, my five-year-old grandson, entered the bathroom, looked at his Dad, then left.

A few minutes later the phone rang, and Darren got out of the tub to answer it.

A concerned voice asked if he was all right. Teddy had called 9-1-1. "My mommy's at work," he told them, "and my daddy's in the bathtub, and he's all blue!" [Big Grin]

Nine of us, all sisters, were travelling out West to celebrate our parents' anniversary.

My oldest sister for some reason felt compelled to tell a security guard at the airport that we were sisters.

"Which order?" he asked.

Just then my youngest sister, eight months pregnant, came around the corner.

"Oh!" the guard exclaimed. "Sisters!" [Big Grin]

"Congratulations my boy!" said the groom's uncle. "I'm sure you'll look back and remember today as the happiest day of your life."

"But I'm not getting married until tomorrow," protested his nephew.

"I know," replied the uncle. "That's exactly what I mean." [Big Grin]

A little boy goes to his father and asks "Daddy, how was I born?"

The father answers: "Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to do a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a blessed little Pop-Up appeared and said:

"You've Got Male!" [Big Grin]

My little boy sometimes had difficult bowel movements. One day, we were browsing together in a novelty and gift store. There were many wooden signs of "words of encouragement" hanging on display.

Suddenly, he pointed to one of the signs and said to me, "Mom, I think we should get this one and hang it by the toilet."

I looked at the sign he was indicating. It read: P. U. S. H.

"Pray Until Something Happens." [Big Grin]

One really cold day in midwinter, my six-year-old daughter was in her room getting dressed. She came out in a sleeveless sundress and asked me, "Is this dress okay, or am I too chilly?" [Big Grin]

My parents couldn't tell time. When I'd come home from a date, they'd always say, "Do you have any idea what time it is?" [Big Grin]

Ten Things Dad Will Never Say

10. Well, how 'bout that?... I'm lost! Looks like we'll have to stop and ask for directions.

9. You know Pumpkin, now that you're thirteen, you'll be ready for unchaperoned car dates. Won't that be fun?

8. I noticed that all your friends have a certain "up yours" attitude ... I like that.

7. Here's a credit card and the keys to my new car -- GO CRAZY.

6. What do you mean you wanna play football? Figure skating not good enough for you, son?

5. Your Mother and I are going away for the weekend ... you might want to consider throwing a party.

4. Well, I don't know what's wrong with your car. Probably one of those doo-hickey thingies -- you know -- that makes it run or something. Just have it towed to a mechanic and pay whatever he asks.

3. No son of mine is going to live under this roof without an earring -- now quit your belly-aching, and let's go to the mall.

2. Whaddya wanna go and get a job for? I make plenty of money for you to spend.

1. Father's Day? aahh -- don't worry about that -- it's no big deal. [Big Grin]

When my father-in-law passed away, we had to clear out his home.We discarded many items and sold some others, but my husband decided to keep the beautiful but very heavy antique dining-room set.

Our teenaged son helped us wrestle the set into our pickup truck. It took the whole day, but finally the table, chairs, and china cabinet were sitting in our own dining room.

"Just think," I said as I admired the furniture while my son sat resting. "This set is 100 years old. And one of these days, it will belong to you."

"Oh, no!" he replied with a stricken look on his face. "You mean I'm going to have to move this thing AGAIN?" [Big Grin]

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, "Dad" With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:

Dear Dad, It is with great regret a nd sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to I've been finding real passion with Joan and she is so nice. I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing, tattoos, her tight Motorcycle clothes and because she is so much older than I am.

But it's not only the passion, Dad , she's pregnant. Joan said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the Woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Joan has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it for us and trading it with other people in the commune for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.

In the meantime , we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Joan can get better; she sure deserves it!!

Don't worry Dad, I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Your son, Chad

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Tommy's house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than the school report card that's in my desk drawer. I love you! Call when it is safe for me to come home. [Big Grin]

My son was excited that it was my birthday, and he wanted to share it with his class for show-and-tell. He asked how old I was. I told him I was 33 but that he didn't have to tell his class my age.

That evening I asked him how his day went. He assured me that he hadn't told his class that I was 33. He told them I was 35.

A young couple took their three-year-old son to doctor Cohen. With some hesitation, they explained that, although their little angel appeared to be in good health, they were concerned about his rather small penis.

After examining the child, the doctor confidently declared, "Just feed him bagels with cream cheese. That should solve the problem."

The next morning, when the boy arrived at breakfast, there was a large stack of warm bagels and cream cheese in the middle of the table.

"Gee, mom," the boy exclaimed. "For me?"

"Just take two," his mother replied. "The rest are for your father." [Big Grin]

Dad's
are born without the sympathy gene. You can break your leg, hobble into your house, and all your Dad will do is look over the paper and grumble, "Shake it off!" [Big Grin]

Sally's mother asked her, "What did Father say when he found out that you're pregnant?"

Sally said, "Should I leave out the profanity?"

"Yes, of course!" her mom said.

And Sally said, "Well, then he didn't say anything." [Big Grin]
