These are the "greatest" tips, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
*Budweiser Beer will condition your hair.
*Pam cooking spray will dry finger nail polish.
*Cool whip will condition your hair in 15 min.
*Mayonnaise will KILL LICE. It will also condition your hair.
*Elmer's Glue -- paint on your face, allow it to dry, peel off and see the dead skin and blackheads.
*Shiny Hair - rinse in brewed Lipton Tea.
*Sunburn -- empty a large jar of instant Nestea into your bath water.
*Minor burn -- Colgate or Crest toothpaste
*Burn your tongue? Put sugar on it!
*Arthritis? WD-40 Spray and rub in; kills insect sting pain, too.
*Bee stings - apply meat tenderizer
*Chigger bite -- Preparation H
*Puffy eyelids -- Preparation H (avoid eyes)
*Paper cut -- crazy glue or Chapstick (glue is used instead of sutures at most hospitals).
*Stinky feet -- Jello!!
*Athletes feet -- cornstarch
*Fungus on toenails or fingernails -- Vicks vapor-rub
*Kool Aid to clean dishwasher pipes. Just put in the detergent section and run a cycle, it will also clean a toilet.
*Kool Aid can be used as a dye in paint also.
*Kool Aid in Dannon plain yogurt as a finger paint. Your kids will love it, and it won't hurt them if they eat it!
*Peanut butter -- will get scratches out of CD's! Wipe off with a coffee-filter paper.
*Sticking bicycle chain -- Pam no-stick cooking spray
*Pam will also remove paint, and grease from your hands! Keep a can in your garage and shop.
*Peanut butter will remove ink from the face of dolls.
*When the doll clothes are hard to put on, sprinkle with cornstarch.
*Heavy dandruff - rinse scalp with vinegar!
*A Slinky will hold toast and CD's.
*To keep goggles and glasses from fogging, coat with Colgate toothpaste and wipe clean.
*Wine stains -- pour on the Morton salt and watch it absorb into the salt.
*To remove wax - Iron a paper towel over the wax stain, the heat will cause the wax to absorb into the towel.
*Body paint -- Crisco mixed with food coloring. Heat the Crisco in the microwave, pour into an empty 35-mm film container and mix with the food color of your choice and allow to cool.
*Tie-dye T-shirts -- Mix a solution of Kool Aid in a container, tie a rubber band around a section of the T-shirt and soak.
*Preserving a newspaper clipping -- large bottle of club soda and 1/2 cup of milk of magnesia -- soak for 20 min. and let dry, will last for many years!
*Remove labels off glassware etc. -- rub with peanut butter! WD 40 works good on this one too.
*Baked-on food - Fill the container with water, put in a Bounce static remover and softener sheet. Soak overnight. The static from the Bounce towel will cause the baked on food to adhere to it. Also you can use 2 Efferdent tablets, soak overnight!
* Crayon on the wall -- Colgate toothpaste and brush it!
* Dirty grout - Listerine
* Stains on clothes - Colgate toothpaste
* Grass stains -- Karo Syrup. Rub in, let soak and wash.
* Grease Stains- Coca Cola, it will also remove grease stains from the driveway overnight. We know it will take corrosion from batteries!
* Fleas in your carpet? 20 Mule Team Borax: sprinkle and let stand for 2-4 hours. Maybe this will work if you get them back again.
* To keep FRESH FLOWERS longer, add a little Clorox or 2 Bayer aspirin in the water. Or just use 7-up instead of water.
*WHO KNEW? When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest?
So did you "squeeze" for softness to determine freshness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has adifferent colored twist tie. They are: M - Blue, Tu - Green, Th - Red, F -White, S -Yellow. So if today were Thursday, you would want red twist tie, not white which is Friday's (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue - Green - Red - White -Yellow, Monday through Saturday.

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big,old pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day,two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began dividing the nuts.
"One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me," said one boy.
Several dropped and rolled down toward the fence. Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he passed, he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He slowed down to investigate. Sure enough, he heard, "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me." He just knew what it was. "Oh my", he shuddered; it's Satan and the Lord dividing the souls at the cemetery.
He jumped back on his bike and rode off. Just around the bend, he met an old man with a cane, hobbling along. "Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe what I heard! Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the souls." The man said, "Beat it, kid, can't you see it's hard for me to walk." When the boy insisted, though, the man hobbled to the cemetery.Standing by the fence they heard,"One for you,one for me.One for you, one for me..."
The old man whispered, "Boy, you've been tellin' the truth. Let's see if we can see the Lord himself!" Shaking with fear, they peeredthrough the fence, yet were still unable to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord.
At last they heard,"One for you, one for me." And one last,"One for you, one for me.That's all. Now let's go get those nuts by the fence, and we'll be done."
They say the old man made it back to town a full 5 minutes ahead of the boy on the bike.

Town to Sacrifice Possum Review for Fireworks
RUMPUS, GA (AheadOfNews.com) Vowing to reverse an "embarrassing trend," the Rumpus City Council has approved a 2004 budget devoted mainly to fireworks.
On Independence Day 2003,fewer rockets made red glare as local governments across the U.S. cut spending to match declining tax revenues. Some towns canceled fireworks entirely, while others simply cut back on rockets and shells.
"Four sparklers and a pre-owned whoopee cushion was all we could afford," said Rumpus Mayor Wilbur "Shorty" Fuse."The annual display was so pitiful it made all the children cry."
Meeting Thursday in City Hall, the five-member council voted unanimously to replace several line items in the budget with expenditures for fireworks. Next year,Rumpus will spend $300 on smokes, $500 on poppers,$1,000 on fountains, $2,000 on repeating aerial displays, $2,000 on "amazing" ground spinners, and $5,000 on eight-inch aerial shells. To balance the budget, the town will eliminate other traditional expenses.
"We'll have to give up the mosquito census and the possum review, " Fuse said, "but you can't always have everything."
