That is true Monte. We have a lot of those drivers here in the Indy area. My favorite is when they decide to merge into other lanes or make a turn at the last possible second without any kind of signal usage.

Agree with Mike, and "yes", it's a bit upsetting when you're on any road and the driver of that "road locomotive" thinks that he can do what he wants to do without any regard to safety and courtesy.

And you got passengers that are important to you - like your wife, family and friends - not including your own life to be concerned about.

I love driving and almost a semi-pro driver, but still .....

Out here, it's usually Bubba in his Ford F-150 who is a menace on the road. As I drive a Nissan Versa hatchback, I find the tailgating that Bubba loves to do most infuriating. I often wish some social scientist can connect tailgating to some other evil activity - like, child molestation - and then Bubba might have an incentive to stop that.

Just get on the cel and call the "social scientist", whom is called the police, that someone is riding your "caboose".

Funny it's also the F-150 disease over here as well .. and bet that "Cletus" can't even make the payments for the things - they're spending their wive's income to make the payments..and they get food stamps.

Yes it does, especially since it can cause a lot of rear-ending accidents and the fault is with the driver that hit the car that didn't signal, when the fault probably should be on the person who didn't signal properly. Granted there could be lots of reason for said accident and the fault may not rest completely on the person that didn't signal. I dunno, I guess I just think it's an unfair situation that can happen. This is not to say I'm the world's best driver by any means. I do my fair share of speeding on the interstate.

Escalade mate, I might be Australian but we do know the Cadillac badge from the Toyota badge. [Razz]

I had a look in a Tahoe but it didnt look as luxo as the Caddy did. The kids loved the captain's chairs with armrests in the second row seats, barely got a peep out of them.

As far as driving and road manners went I was pleasantly surprised, didnt have any close calls at all and cant wait to get back over there next year and make our road trip a bit longer next time. LA to Dallas?
