Favorite excuses for missing work: I set half the clocks in my house ahead an hour and the other half back an hour Saturday and spent 18 hours in some kind of space-time continuum loop, reliving Sunday (right up until the explosion).I was able to exit the loop only by reversing the polarity of the power source exactly e*log(pi) clocks in the house while simultaneously rapping my dog on the snout with a rolled up Times.Accordingly,I will be in late, or early. My stigmata's acting up. I can't come in to work today because I'll be stalking my previous boss, who fired me for not showing up for work.OK? I have a rare case of 48-hour projectile leprosy, but I know we have that deadline to meet... I am stuck in the blood pressure machine down at the Food Giant. Yes,I seem to have contracted some attention-deficit disorder and, hey, how about them Bears, huh? So, I won't be able to, yes, could I help you? No,no,I'll be sticking with Sprint, but thank you for calling. I just found out that I was switched at birth. Legally,I shouldn't come to work knowing my employee records may now contain false information. The psychiatrist said it was an excellent session. He even gave me this jaw restraint so I won't bite things when I am startled. The dog ate my car keys. We're going to hitchhike to the vet. I prefer to remain an enigma. My stepmother has come back as one of the Undead and we must track her to her coffin to drive a stake through her heart and give her eternal peace. One day should do it. I can't come to work today because the EPA has determined that my house is completely surrounded by wetlands and I have to arrange for helicopter transportation. I am converting my calendar from Julian to Gregorian. I am extremely sensitive to a rise in the interest rates. I refuse to travel to my job until there is a commuter tax.I insist on paying my fair share. I've used up all my sick days...so I'm calling in dead!

Feel Free To Copy and Post These Rules Where you Work
SICK DAYS
We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness.
If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.
PERSONAL DAYS
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday. Does not include Theatre Employees they shall work untill they drop dead.
BEREAVEMENT LEAVE
This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or coworkers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements. In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.
LUNCH BREAK
Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch as they need to eat more, that they can look healthy.
Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced mealto maintain their average figure.
Fat people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim Fast.
Thank you for your loyalty to our company. We are here to provide apositive employment experience. Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravatios, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplation's, consternation, and input should be directed elsewhere.
DRESS CODE
It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing $350.00 Prada sneakers, and carrying a $600.00Gucci Bag,we assume you are doing well financially and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better,so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress in-between,you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise. RESTROOM USE
Entirely too much time is being spent in the restroom. There is now a strict 3 minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open and a picture will be taken. After your second offense, your picturewill be posted on the company bulletin board under the "Chronic Offenders" category. Have a nice week! GET TO WORK !!!

An auto dealer, facing bankruptcy, was walking along a beach when he kicked a bottle and out popped a genie. "Thanks for setting me free, " said the genie. "To show my appreciation, I'll grant you one wish." "Okay," said the auto dealer, "I want to be the only foreign car dealer in a major metropolitan market." "Done!" cried the genie. Immediately, the dealer found himself in a glass-walled office looking out over a major city. "Quick," he said to his secretary, "tell me who I am." "You're the only Cadillac dealer in downtown Tokyo," said the secretary.
