A lady is having a bad day at the roulette tables in 'Vegas. She's down to her last $50.

Exasperated, she exclaims, "What rotten luck! What in the world should I do now?"

A man standing next to her, trying to calm her down, suggests, "I don't know... why don't you play your age?"

He walks away.

Moments later, his attention is grabbed by a great commotion at the roulette table.

Maybe she won! He rushes back to the table and pushes his way through the crowd.

The lady is lying limp on the floor, with the table operator kneeling over her.

The man is stunned. He asks, "What happened? Is she all right?"

The operator replies, "I don't know. She put all her money on 29, and 36 came up.

Then she just fainted!

A Swiss guy, looking for directions, pulls up at a bus stop where two Englishmen are waiting.

"Entschuldigung, koennen Sie Deutsch sprechen?" he says. The two Englishmen just stare at him.

"Excusez-moi, parlez vous Francais?" The two continue to stare.

"Parlare Italiano?" No response.

"Hablan ustedes Espanol?" Still nothing.

The Swiss guy drives off, extremely disgusted.

The first Englishman turns to the second and says, "Y'know, maybe we should learn a foreign language...."

"Why?" says the other, "That bloke knew four languages, and it didn't do him any good."

The Acme Company was trying to sell its new computerized crystal ball to a major marketing executive. But as expected, the executive was quite skeptical.

The Acme sales rep told the executive, "Go ahead and type a question into the crystal ball."

The executive typed, "Where is my father?"

The crystal ball bleeped and blooped for a short while, and then came back with "Your father is fishing in Michigan."

The executive said to the sales rep, "You see? I knew this was BS. My father's been dead for twenty years."

"Hmmmm. Try asking the question in a different way."

This time the executive typed, "Where is my mother's husband?"

The crystal ball came back with an answer, even more quickly this time than before.

"Your mother's husband has been dead for twenty years. Your father just landed a three pound trout."

A 7UP salesman had a crazy idea that he could triple his sales if he went to Africa and sold 7UP to the natives.

He had been gone for a few days when his regional manager tracked him down .

The regional manager came to the first village and they were all drinking 7UP.

He followed the path to the next village and all the natives were drinking 7UP also.

The next village turned out to be cannibals, but they too were drinking 7UP.

He asked them, "Where did the 7UP salesman go?"

The Chief was quick to reply with, "We ate all of him except for his thing." The regional manager asked, "Why didn't you eat his thing?"

The Chief chuckled and said, "Everyone knows things go better with Coke."

Thomas Edison had been staying up late for several weeks working on developing the electric lightbulb.

In principle, it was simple, but finding the right material for the filament proved daunting.

One night, in the wee small hours, he finally discovered just the substance he needed and proceeded to build the first lightbulb.

To his delight, it lit and burned steadily.

Overjoyed, he picked the whole thing up and charged into the bedroom, where his wife was fast asleep.

"Darling look!! Look what I've invented!!"

Mrs. Edison rolled over and said, "For heaven's sake, Tom, turn out the light and come to bed!"

A first grade teacher had a small number of children gathered around a table for a reading group. After the story was read she gave the children a work sheet to do.

While they were working she heard a little girl say very softly "Damn!"

The teacher leaned over and said quietly, "We don't say that in school."

The little girl looked at the teacher, her eyes got very big and she said, "Not even when everything is all f***** up?"

A census taker in a rural area went up to a farmhouse and knocked. When a woman came to the door, he asked her how many children she had and their ages.

She said, "Les' see now, there's the twins, Margie and Mikey, they're eighteen. And the twins, Pam & Sam, they're sixteen. And the twins, Sissy and Missy, they're fourteen."

"Hold on!" said the census taker, "Did you get twins every time?" The woman answered, "Heck no, there were hundreds of times we didn't get nothin'."

The little boy greeted his grandmother with a hug and said, "I'm so happy to see you grandma. Now maybe daddy will do the trick he has been promising us." The grandmother was curious. "What trick is that my dear," she asked.

The little boy replied, "I heard daddy tell mommy that he would climb the walls if you came to visit us again."

A farmer had so many children, he ran out of names, so he started naming his kids after something around the farm.

The first day of school began, and the teacher asked each child their name. When he got to one of the farmer's sons, the boy replied, "Wagon Wheel".

The teacher said, "I need your REAL name, son."

"It's Wagon Wheel, sir...Really".

The teacher in a huff, said, "Alright young man...march yourself right down to the principal's office THIS minute!"

The boy got up, turned to his sister and said, "Come on, Chicken Poop....he ain't gonna believe YOU, either!"

Ah, yes, divorce , from the Latin word meaning to rip out a man's genitals through his wallet

"What's it about?" he asked.

"I don't know," she replied. "I can't read."

The judge replied, 'No, keep it, when you get three you get a bicycle.'

A kid walked up to a guy wearing a 10-gallon hat, leather vest, leather chaps, and sneakers.

The kid asked him, "Mr. Cowboy, why do you wear that big hat?"

The cowboy replied, "Well, son, the big hat protects me from hot sun and driving rain, and at night I put it over my face when I sleep on the range, so it protects me then, too."

"Why do you wear that leather vest?"

"It also helps to keep the weather off me, and it has pockets where I can keep my valuables."

"Well, why do you wear leather chaps?"

"They protect my legs when I'm driving my horse through mesquite and cactus."

"Well, Mr. Cowboy," the kid finally asked, "Why do you wear sneakers?"

"That's so somebody won't think I'm a damn truck driver."

A drunk phoned police to report that thieves had been in his car.

"They've stolen the dashboard, the steering wheel, the brake pedal, even the accelerator," he cried out.

However, before the police investigation could start, the phone rang again, and the same voice came over the line.

"Never mind," he said with a hiccup, "I got in the back seat by mistake."
